Backyard Plantings in Malden, MA
These Malden homeowners wanted to cleanup their backyard, adding in pollinator plants wherever possible. Also the area along a neighbor’s garage was filled with concrete rubble. The rubble was removed and replaced with new cobblestones and fresh soil. This area was transformed into a new garden.

Lawn Alternative in Somerville, MA
These clients were looking for a low maintenance solution to an overgrown front yard. Pollinator plants were selected and a simple stone path installed. All plants will bloom at various times through the season. A soaker hose system on a timer delivers the correct amount of water everyday.

Pollinator Garden in Bolton, MA
A new landscape design for this Bolton home. All of the original plantings were removed, new pollinator plants added along with a small weeping tree.

Somerville lawn alternative
A Somerville family was feeling overwhelmed with a yard full of weeds (Black Swallow Wort & Trumpet vine). We ripped out all the invasive plants, amended the soil, added pollinator plants and shrubs. A biodegradable weed barrier will help keep the weeds from coming back, and the yard mulched with leaf mulch.

Making the most of a small space
A Somerville condo had a few small beds that had become weeded over and needed help. Most of the existing plants were removed and replaced with a variety of easy to maintain pollinator perennials which will provide blooms throughout the growing season.

Shady Perennial Bed in Bolton, MA
A Bolton homeowner wanted a new part-shade perennial bed around an old stone well. They were very interested in having a variety of plants to attract pollinators and birds. Plants included Asarum, Desmodium, Monarda, and Lobelia.
